OBIT: (copied from microfilms of old Red Oak, Iowa newspapers) Mrs. Rozella Forshay Liddick, wife of Geo. G Liddick, died at her home in Red Oak Monday evening, Aug 31 1909, from consumption after illness of about two years. The funeral services, conducted by Rev. Thompson, of the Evangelical Church, were held at the home Thursday afternoon, Sept 2, at 2:30 o'clock. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Moses Feithcaseut (Felthouser?) of Nebraska City, a sister and Frederick Shamblin and Mrs. Eliza Askern, grandfather and aunt of Mrs. Liddick, came to attend the funeral. Mrs. Liddick was born in Noble county, Ill., June 25 1870, and has been a resident of Red Oak since 1884. She was married to Geo. G. Liddick in 1890. She is survived by Mr. Liddick and three children, Walter, Arza, and Mrs. Myrtle Jahnke, four sisters, Mrs. Chas. Nunn and Mrs.Geo. Lutz of Red Oak, Mrs. Moses Feitheaseut of Nebraska City, and Mrs. Martha Briggs of Sheridan, Wyo. and one brother, Thomas M. Forshay of Red Oak. Mrs. Liddick was a member of the Christian Church.
