OBIT: The Malvern Leader, October 23, 1930: Word was received here Sunday of the death of Thomas Shamblen, a long time resident of Mills county, who passed away at his home farm near Tabor Sunday morning, Oct. 18 (1930). Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in Tabor at 1:30 at the Christian church and burial was made in the Malvern cemetery. He is survived by eight sons and three daughters.
