LETTER OF C. BERTHA WICKHAM, Iowa Falls, 1941: "Julia's first husband, Charlie Voiles was stabbed to death in a saloon in an early day by one of the Rainesbarger gang. You surely heard of them at Steamboat Rock. One daughter and a son were born. The boy drowned. The daughter I heard is still living at Mountain Home, ID. Then Julia married Charlie's brother John. They had 2 girls: Stella Voiles Turner, a very talented lady, now deceased, and Velma whose location I do not know."
