OBIT: Waterloo Courier, 26 Jan 1992: Donna Mae Waddell, 62, of Bellflower, Calif., and formerly of Waterloo, died Thursday, Jan. 23, at Memorial Medical Center in Long Beach, Calif., of cancer.
She was born July 2, 1929, in Waterloo, the daughter of Harry and Erma Daehler Wickham,
She was a hostess at Rolinger's restaurant. She was also a self-employed beautician and instructor at Pitze's Beauty School. She had been working at a data operator at P.D M. Distributing in California.
Survivors include a son, George E. Jr., of Dubuque, two daughters, Rebecca Woldan of Dysart and Debra Voshell of Waterloo; six grandchildren; a sister, Beverly Palmer of Bellflower; and two brothers, Darrell Wickham of Tacoma, Wash., and Keith Wickham of Waterloo; she was preceded in death by a sister.
Services were held in Long Beach on Saturday at the Dilday-Mottell Lakewood Mortuary, and will also be held in Waterloo at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Locke Funeral Home, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, Cedar Falls. Local visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
