OBIT, Mar. 3, 1984: Erma Slaughter - Services for Erma Wickham Slaughter, 76, of rural Fredericksburg and formerly of Waterloo, are pending at Locke Funeral Home.
She died Saturday morning at Allen Memorial Hospital.
She was born Aug. 22, 1907, at Chadwick, Ill., the daughter of William and Anna Schreiner Daehler. She married Harry Wickham in July 1924 at Iowa Falls. He died June 13, 1945. She later married Mike Slaughter April 22, 1972, in Las Vegas, Nev., and he died in November, 1978.
Survivors are two sons, Keith Wickham of Waterloo and Darrell Wickham of Tacoma, Wash.; two daughters, Mrs. Donna Waddell and Mrs. Beverly Palmer, both of Bellflower, Calif.; a brother, M. A. Daehler of rural Fredericksburg; a sister, Mrs. Webb Allen of Spring Valley, Minn.; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after noon on Monday.
