Mr. & Mrs. W. are members of the Methodist Protestant Church at Spring Grove, in which he is class-leader. In his younger days he was a Democrat, but since 1856 has been identified with the Republicans; has been Justice of the Peace one term and Constable one year. Owns 82 acres of land, valued at $2,000; has lived on this farm for the past 23 years.
