Edward Forquer Harmon BIRTH 19 Dec 1892 Quincy, Adams County, Illinois, USA DEATH 1 Dec 1959 (aged 66) Quincy, Adams County, Illinois, USA BURIAL Greenmount Cemetery Quincy, Adams County, Illinois, USA Charles and Nettie (Forquer) Harmon welcomed a baby boy 19 December 1892 at Keokuk Iowa. They named their son Edward F. Harmon. Edith Landrum Clifford became the wife of Edward F. Harmon 14 April 1933 in Peoria Illinois. Edward Harmon, PFC, served from 30 April 1918 through 19 June 1919 in HQ Company H, 149th Infantry during World War I. He received an Honorable Discharge. Mr. Harmon, an electrician, worked for Johnson Electric, in Des Moines Iowa. Edward Harmon was a member of the Methodist church. He also belonged to Auburn Lodge of Masons No. 592, Des Moines Iowa; and to Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local No. 347. Edward Harmon passed away 1 December 1959 at a Quincy Illinois hospital. Dr. Walter F. Day led funeral services, held at Duker funeral parlor in Quincy Illinois. Interment took place at Greenmount cemetery in Quincy. - rewritten from obituary and funeral notice.
