  General Notes:

BIRTH YEAR: Many genealogy files on the Internet list Jerusha's birth year as "Abt 1775". However, the census records for Benjamin Wickham indicate that this date is incorrect. The 1850 census lists her age as 60, which would mean she was born about 1790. The 1790 birth date also correlates to the age ranges listed for the oldest female in the Benjamin Wickham household in the 1810, 1820, 1820, 1830 and 1840 census. If the 1790 birth year is correct, then Jerusha must have been Benjamin's second wife, since Jerusha would only have been 3 when Benjamin's oldest child, Nathan, was born.

DEATH DATE: Jerusha was still living in 1856 because she signed a deed in Noble Co, OH that year.
