OBIT, June 15, 1888: J. O. Reeves is again called upon to mourn the loss of a member of his home circle. On last Sunday morning his infant daughter Minnie L., died at his home, age 7 month and 1 day. Only a few short weeks ago her mother died, since which time it has been poorly and little hopes were ever entertained of it becoming strong and healthy. The funeral was held on Monday morning at the Presbyterian Church, Rev. Zimmerman preaching the sermon. It was buried in the cemetery west of town. Mr. Reeves has the sympathy of many relatives and friends.
