Daisy B. Hagan - Daisy B. Hagan, 91, of 1276 Dunlap Creek Rd., Newcomerstown, O., died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2003, in Riverside Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at Newcomerstown, O. She was born Sept. 7, 1912, at Cambridge, O., a daughter of the late Carrie (Keith) Moffatt and Ollie Moffatt. She was a graduate of Cambridge High School and worked at Cambridge Glass. She was a member of Hartwood United Methodist Church of Newcomerstown and a member of Buckhorn Grange and Tabitha Club. On June 29, 1940, she married Myron Hagan, who died Feb. 10, 1992.
Surviving are a son, Larry Hagan and wife Shirley of Newcomerstown; a daughter, Barbara Schreiber and husband David of Georgia; five grandsons, Wesley Hagan and wife Andrea, Micah Hagan and wife Mandy, Bryce Hagan, Mark Schreiber and wife Emily and Greg Schreiber and wife Christine; four great-grandsons, Nolan and Lucas Hagan and Samuel and Sean Schreiber; and two nieces and cousins. One brother, Ollie Moffatt, preceded her in death.
Services will be held at Addy Funeral Home in Newcomerstown on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2003, beginning at 11 a.m. with Rev. Thomas Gruver officiating and burial will be in Hartwood Church Cemetery at Newcomerstown. Visitation will be Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2003, from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Assn., 1701 N. Beauregard St., Alexandria, Va., or Hartwood Cemetery Trustee Fund, in care of Rudy Glazer, 15287 Orchard Rd., Newcomerstown, O. 43832. Arrangements are by Addy Funeral Home.
