OBIT: Times Recorder, Zanesville, OH, 5 May 1939 -
CALDWELL, O., May 4 - Mrs. Emma Lemnax Archer, 46, wife of Glenn Archer and prominent in Noble county, died suddenly at their country home near Whigville Wednesday evening. Mrs. Archer was in her usual good health and had been busy all day with household affairs. Following the evening meal she dropped quietly to the floor as she was going from one room to another, dying instantly. A physician was summoned and pronounced death due to a sudden heart attack.
The deceased was the only daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Cleary and was born in the home where she resided at the time of her death. She was an active member of the M. E. church at Whigville and the missionary society of the church. She was also a member of the Caldwell W.C.T.U.
Surviving are her husband and three children, Bradey, John and Elain, all of the home. One daughter and one brother are deceased.
Funeral services will be held at the M.E. church, Whigville, Saturday morning at 10 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Paul A. Brodt. Interment will be made in the church cemetery.
