bullet  General Notes:

HISTORY OF RICHARDSON CO, NE, 1917: "Faye, who is attending the normal school at Peru at this time."

INFO FROM FRANK LESLIE: Anabel's sister, Faye, married Earl Harlow, both now deceased. They owned the Wickham place in Salem for many years. The place now belongs to Bob Harlow, their son. Bob has done a lot of work and has the place up in good shape. All the out buildings are gone but the foundation for the ice house as still there the last time I visited there. It was dug back into the hill and had a double foundation forming a hollow between the walls. This was filled with sawdust for insulation. They cut ice off the Nemaha River in the winter and it lasted most of the growing season. This is the way they packed their fruit for shipment.

SSDI: Faye Harlow; b. 27 Mar 1897; d. Jul 1978; issued MD; last residence: Baltimore, Baltimore Co, MD.
