OBIT, Mt. Vernon Hawkeye, Feb. 9, 1950: James A. Wickham, youngest son of B. P. and Mary Hendrickson Wickham was b. in Marion, IA Jan. 18, 1870, d. at his home in Urbana, Feb. 5. He was a pioneer farmer in Linn Co. and retired to Urbana 12 yrs. ago. He mar. Nov. 16, 1893 to Lecty Johnston of Springville and lived there until Mrs. Wickham's death in 1903. They had 3 children, two who survive - Roy of Center Point, and Hazel - Mrs. Wilton Gunn of Mt. Vernon. In 1907 Mr. Wickham mar. Mrs. Emma Mathews who surv. with 2 children, Merle and Mrs. Doris Arnold, both of Cedar Rapids; a brother O. E. Wickham of Central City: and 5 grandchildren. He reared 2 step children, James Mathews of Walker and Mrs. Emma Martinec of Vinton. Burial Urbana Cemetery.
