MONROE CO, OH RECORDS, Vol. VII, p. 26 - from Spirit of Democracy newspaper published Woodsfield, OH, Apr. 3, 1861: Legal Notice: John Matthews, Ezekiel Matthews, John Wickham and Ann, his wife; John Trimbly and Jemima, his wife; Jacob Bailey and Hanna, his wife; who reside out of the State of Ohio, will take notice that on the 28th of March, 1861, Peter King, as the admr. of the estate of John Matthews deceased, filed his petition against them and others to sell the following track in S.18, T.2, R.4.

Wickham, father. (Note: the information about the informant, W. H. Wickham, being John's father must be incorrect since Warren Wickham would have been at least 100 years old. Most likely, John's son, Warren Hess Wickham, was the informant.)
