OBIT: MONTROSE, IA JOURNAL, 31 January 1918: Bertha WRIGHT was born 3 March 1880 on a farm near Montrose, was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. PORTER WRIGHT. She married to Allen J. PHILP 17 August 1898 and died 21 January 1918 at St. Joseph’s hospital in Keokuk. Leaves her husband, three sons and two daughters, her mother, Mrs. J.P. WRIGHT, three brothers and two sisters. Buried at Hickory Grove
