OBIT: The Hawkeye, Burlington, IA, Wednesday, April 14, 2004: Frances Crosley (Wilcox) Obituary - Frances Helen Crosley, 90, of Bickford Cottage in Burlington died at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2004, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.
Born Oct. 27, 1913, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Clarence and Helen Landhauser Willcox. Mrs. Crosley was a housekeeper and homemaker. She was a 1931 graduate of Burlington High School. She was a member of the former Faith Presbyterian Church, now First Presbyterian Church, the Rhoda Circle of Faith Presbyterian Church and AARP.
Survivors include one sister, Delores Duncan of Fort Madison; two nieces; three nephews; four great nieces; four great nephews; two great- great nieces and four great-great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lunning Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The funeral Ms. Crosley will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Lunning Chapel, with the Rev. Forrest Krummel officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. Memorials have been established for Bickford Cottage and First Presbyterian Church.
