OBIT: The Hawkeye, Thursday, Apr. 28, 1994: Charlotte Percival (Wilcox) Obituary - Charlotte L. Percival, 74, of 2107 Avenue B. Fort Madison, died at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 1994, at the Fort Madison Community Hospital.
Born April 15, 1920, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Clarence and Helen Landhouser Willcox. She married Robert N. Percival on April 8, 1942, at Kahoka, Mo.
She had lived in Fort Madison since 1942. She had been a sales clerk at P.M. Place and Spurgeons for many years. She was a member of Union Presbyterian Church, Church Circle and Fort Madison Senior Citizens.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Richard Ballard of Hull; three sisters, Frances Crosley and Kathryn Burman, both of Burlington, and Delores Duncan of Fort Madison; two grand children; nieces and nephews.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. today, with the family receiving friends from 7 to 8 p.m. at the King-Lynk Funeral Home in Fort Madison. The funeral for Mrs. Percival will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Marvin Potter officiating. Burial will be in Soldiers Circle, Oakland Cemetery. A memorial has been established for the Union Presbyterian Church.
