Raymond S. White, 80, formerly of Vinton, died Monday, June 26, 1995, in Allison Health Care Center, Allison, after a lengthy illness. Services: 10
a.m. Friday, Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, Vinton. Burial will be at a later date in Maplewood Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
There are no immediate survivors.

OBIT: Raymond White
Vinton - Raymond S. White, 80, died Monday, June 26, 1995, at the Allison Health Care Center, where he had been a resident since 1991. He was born March 14, 1915, in Cedar Rapids, the only son of William White and "Norah" Todd Ake White.
Prior to moving to Allison, he lived at the Benton County Care Facility for 27 years. When this facility had it's own farming operation, he helped around the farm, especially in the vegetable gardens.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his four sisters. Survivors include one cousin in Iowa Falls.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 30, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, Vinton with Dr. Dennis Morey officiating. Burial of cremains at Maplewood Cemetery at a later date.
