MILITARY INFO FROM VIRGINIA MAJEWSKI: Anthony B. Perkins was a career military man, serving 25 years in the US Army. During WWII, he was working in a chemical warfare division as a 1st Lt. He was loaned to the British Army. For his service and bravery protecting the San Clemente Ford area from the Germans, he was Knighted and made an honorary member of the Military Division of the Most Excellant Order of the British Empire. He retired from the US Army at the rank of Col.
