OBIT, Zanesville Times Recorder, Wednesday, June 5, 2002: Alfred J. Wickham, 88, of Zanesville died at 6:50 p.m., Monday at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. Born January 20, 1914, in Caldwell, he was a retired kiln firer at Zanesville Stoneware and a member of the Hight Hill Sportsmen's Club.
Surviving are one sister, Freda Wisecarver of Sonora; and two special friends, Janet Rivera and Tom McCormick both of Zanesville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Frye Wickham (July 23, 1968); his parents, Charles and Rose Phelps Wickham; sisters, Thelma Wickham, Lillian Hutton and Dorothy Dovenbarger; and one brother Carl Wickham.
Calling hours will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Henry Mayle officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
