OBIT, Daily Jeffersonian: Esther Wickham, 93, of Cumberland, died Wed. (July 30, 2003) at the home of her son in Cumberland. She was born May 24, 1910, in Caldwell, daughter of the late Wesley and Rhoda (Butler) Wickham. Mrs. Wickham had made her home in Chandlersville, Duncan Falls, Byesville, and Cumberland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Wickham; a daughter, Helen Ruth Bickford; four brothers, Lewis, Guy, Amus and Albert Wickham; and two sisters, Iona Manley and Jane Bates.
She leaves three sons, Harvey R. Wickham of Cumberland, Virgil R. Wickham Sr. of Duncan Falls, and James "Tom" Wickham of Cumberland, with whom she made her home; a daughter, Marjorie F. Hupp of Byesville; 21 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Archers Ridge Cemetery.
