OBIT, Times Advocate, Monday Apr 26, 2004: ROSEVILLE -- Dorothy Brown, 80, of Roseville, passed away at 5:50 p.m. Friday, April 23, 2004, at Bethesda Hospital following a short illness. She was born Aug. 23, 1923, in Chandlersville. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Marjorie Bickford of Roseville and Nancy Brown of Belton, Mo.; son, William T. Brown of Cleveland; brother, Oliver Wickham; sister, Leona Bobbs of Philo; 24 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Brenda Cunningham of Roseville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Brown, who passed away Sept. 18, 1990; parents, Taylor and Mary Bates Wickham; son, John L. Brown; daughter, Mary Wolf Gohring; six brothers, Marshall, Harvey, Lawrence, Elsworth, Finley and Edward Wickham; sister, Opal Wickham; grandson, Raymond L. Bickford; stepsons, Charles, William and Leonard Brown; and a stepdaughter, Jannette Fountain.
Calling hours will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the Cannon-Lanning Funeral Home, 33 Main Street, Roseville, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Alice Baldwin officiating. Burial will be at Mount Horeb Cemetery.
