DIED.
ARCHER - Jan. 16, 1887, Miss Anna Archer, aged 15 years, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Archer, and niece of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Wickham.
It is sad to think that the cold hand of death has taken from your fireside, one who is near and dear. - While the cheering presence of Anna will never again gladden your home, there is a consolation that, in the hour of such affliction, "the Lord will be a refuge for the oppressed." He has aleviated dear Anna from all her suffering, and conveyed her sweet spirit from this vale of sorrow into the joys of life eternal. Sad is your heart and lonely is your home, yet, weep not, dear friends, only think that your child is resting peacefully - not in a strange land, but in the sunlight of that Higher Life, waiting and watching at the portal gates for the loved ones, by and by.
