He was born in South Dakota and lived here most of his life. He worked for the American Oil Company, Sugar Creek, MO, for 22 years prior to his 1967 retirement. He was a member of the First Christian Church, Independence, MO.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary C. Burch of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Lulu B. Arnold, Hood River, Ore.; and a brother, Donald L. Burch, 554 Carlisle Dr., Sugar Creek, MO.
Services will be at 3 pm Wednesday, at the Carson Chapel; burial in the Mound Grove Cemetery.
