Mrs. Wickham, 82, Dies Here; Funeral Held at Steamboat -
Funeral services for Mrs. Rosa E. Wickham were held Sunday afternoon in the Presbyterian church at Steamboat Rock, conducted by Rev. Harold(?) Johnson(?).
Music was furnished by Mrs. Abe H. Jaspers with vocals by Mrs. Alvin Jaspers, Mrs. Herman P Lloyd and Marion Van Dyk. Flower laders were Hattie Tholen and Marie Elders. Pallbearers were Homer Ware, Bud Smith, Harry Wilhams, Otto Laken(?), Mike Zielske and Will Daleske.
Interment was in the Steamboat Rock cemetery.
Rosa E. Rainsbarger was born Sept. 25, 1866, in Hardin county near Steamboat Rock and passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Cyril Collins, in Eldora March 24.
On Aug. 29, 1887 she was united in marriage to Sherman Wickham. To this union wre born six children. Two sons and her husband preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, Earl Wickham of Steamboat Rock and Richard of St. Louis, Mo., two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Smith of Steamboat Rock and Mrs. Ruby Collins of Eldora, and a brother John Rainsbarger of Steamboat Rock. She also leaves six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
