LETTER TO ARTHUR WICKHAM FROM STELLA J. MILLSLAGLE, 609 1st St., Coon Rapids, IA, June 17, 1941: Eliza Millslagle who married Bimuel Wickham was my father's sister, and Samuel Millslagle who married Hannah Wickham, was his half-brother. Whether Catherine, Rebecca and Nancy were nieces of his I do not know, but they were NOT his sisters. (Note: Stella did not mention who her father was but did state she had a brother Ernest Millslagle.) P.S. This Mrs. Claire Quiggle, of Milo, IA, can give you information about or leading to, the Nancy you mention, I think. I just dimly remember that she remarried upon the death of her first husband, her second husband being a Grant McPherson and their family all lived in Chicago. If she is the one I am thinking of, and I am sure she is, Mrs. Quiggle can give you information about them, and addressses as well as the Etta Wheeler group, in Idaho. The last time I talked with her, she corresponded with both families.
Peter married Hester Elizabeth QUIGGLE on 2 Apr 1874 in Steamboat Rock, Hardin Co, IA.1 2 (Hester Elizabeth QUIGGLE was born on 4 May 1857 in Johnson Co, IA,4 5 died on 8 Feb 1936 in proably IA 5 and was buried in Jackson Twp. Cem, Hardin Co, IA.)
