Winfield Beacon, (IA): Anniversary Open House - Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Wickham will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.
Ralph Wickham and Eileen Rawhouser were married at the home of her parents near Winfield, Iowa by Rev. Geo. Smith. They are the parents of two sons, Raymond of Bargersville, Ind. and Carl of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. There are seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
The sons and families invite all friends and relatives to the First United Methodist Church on January 6 from two to four p.m. to celebrate. Your presence will be a cherished gift. The couple requests no other gifts.

OBIT: Ralph W. Wickham, 85, of rural Mt. Pleasant, died at 10:08 a.m. on Friday, July 3, 1998 at University of Iowa Hospitals, Iowa City.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 6, 1998 at First United Methodist Church, Mt. Pleasant. Interment was held at Forest Home Cemetery. A memorial has been established to Henry County Ambulance Service.
Mr. Wickham was born on July 28, 1912 northwest of Mt. Union to John F. and Flora A. Irwin Wickham. On Jan. 2, 1935 near Winfield, he married H. Eileen Rawhauser who preceded him in death on Sept. 28, 1995.
He graduated from Winfield High School in 1931 and farmed northeast of Mt. Pleasant near Hickory Grove all his life. He was a member and past Head Usher of First Methodist Church, Mt. Pleasant, where he had served on various church boards. He had served on the Henry County Credit Union Board.
He is survived by two sons, Carl L. Wickham, Mt. Pleasant and Raymond A. Wickham, Franklin, Ind.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one brother, Merle Wickham of rural Winfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one brother, Lester K. Wickham; and two sisters, Hazel McAllister and Esther Horton.
