Robin D. "Bob" Robinson, 72, of rural Windsor, died Sunday morning, Jan. 16, 2005, at Four Seasons Living Center in Sedalia. He was born Aug. 2, 1922, in Benton County, near Fort Lyon, a son of Raymond Robert Robinson and Ora Mae Wickham Robinson. On Jan. 16, 1949, in Windsor, at the Windsor Christian Church, he was married to Blanche Virginia Lutjen, who survives of the home.
Mr. Robinson worked at the Windsor International Shoe Factory for 44 years before he retired. He also farmed and enjoyed fishing and attending live country music shows in Tightwad with his wife and their friends. He was a member of the Windsor United Methodist Church.
Also surviving are a daughter and son-in-law; a sister, Genevieve Buell, of Windsor; a brother, James Robinson, of Edgerton; and a grandson. He was predeceased by a sister, Bernice Knight, and a brother, Samuel R. Robinson.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Hadley Funeral Home in Windsor, with Rev. Bruce Jeffries officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Oak Cemetery in Windsor.
