LeCLAIRE, Iowa -- Services for Rosetta R. Wickham, of Waukon, formerly of Bettendorf and LeClaire, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Glendale Cemetery, LeClaire. There is no visitation.
Mrs. Wickham died Wednesday, July 29, 1998, at Good Samaritan Center, Waukon. McGinnis, Chambers & Sass Funeral Home, Bettendorf, is in charge of arrangements. She was employed many years as a seamstress at Marburry Coats, Davenport. She also had been cook for several years in Bettendorf and Waukon.
Rosetta Ruckhaber was born Sept. 8, 1908, to William and Jesse (May) Ruckhaber. She married Ralph Wickham on July 2, 1927, in Waukon. He died May 3, 1967. Memorials may be made to the Good Samaritan Nursing Center, Waukon. Survivors include a daughter, Betty Jagerson, Delmar; a daughter-in-law, Laura Wickham, Bettendorf; seven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Nellie Egeberg, Brookings, S.D.; and brothers, Bill Ruckhaber, Lansing, Kan., and Jim Ruckhaber, Luana. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Wickham, on Jan. 24, 1997.
