Tanner Riddle and wife had 5 children, including 2 females under the age of 5.

1840 VA CENSUS, Rockingham, VA:
"Tavener" Riddle - large family with one girl 5-10 yrs old and 2 girls 10-15 yrs old.
(Is this the correct family?)

1850 VA CENSUS, Rockingham, VA:
"Tavner" Riddle and family. Elizabeth Tanner, 21, was listed but there was not a child William listed.
(This might be the wrong Elizabeth.)

1850 IL CENSUS, Clay Co, Clay and Richland Dist:
Elizabeth Riddle, 19, b. IN; Pleasant Riddle, 1-6/12, b. IL, living with the family of Reuban & Elizabeth Griswold.
(Are these the right people? The ages are pretty close.)

1856 IA CENSUS, Butler Co, West Point Twp:
Elizabeth, 26, living with her husband Benjamin Wickham and children William & Sarah Wickham.
They had all been in IA 3 yrs.
(Note: William and Sarah are actually Dougherty, not Wickham.)

TAMA CO, IA MARRIAGES, Book A, p. 101: Elizabeth Wickham & Warren Mann were married Oct 12, 1868.

Louisa, 5, b. IA.
(Note: William was a son of Warren Mann by a former wife and was living with Warren in the 1860 census.)

1875 KS CENSUS, Cloud Co, Summit Twp:
Warren Mann, 68, farmer, $145 personal property, b. NY, moved to KS from IA;
M. E. Mann, 40, female, b. VA, moved to KS from IA;
J. Mann, 18, female, b. IA;
W. Mann, 17, male, b. IA;
L. Mann, 10, female, b. IA;
E. Mann, 4/12, female, b. KS.
(Note: J. Mann is probably Jerusha Wickham. L. Mann is probably Jennie Louise Wickham. E. Mann is probably Ella Pfosia, daughter of Joseph Pfosia & Jerusha Wickham.)

1885 KS CENSUS, Cloud Co, Summit Twp, Jamestown P.O.:
Warren V. Mann, 77, married, farmer, b. NY; Elizabeth M. Mann, 54, married, b. VA;
Orison J. Wickham, 23, single, farmer, b. IA;
Florence H. Brown, 19, single, b. IA or unknown.
The Mann family moved to KS from IA.
(Listed next to them on the census was the Daniel Mosburg family.)

BURIAL: Elizabeth Mann (1825-1889) was buried Glasco Cemetery, Glasco, Cloud Co, KS.
(However, since the birth date does not match, it might not be the correct Mary Elizabeth Mann.)

Mary married John DOUGHERTY\DORITY about 1848 in perhaps IL. (John DOUGHERTY\DORITY was born in IL or NC ³.)

Mary next married Benjamin WICKHAM Jr., son of Benjamin WICKHAM and Jerusha "Rusha" (---), on 10 Jun 1854 in Johnson Co, IA.¹ (Benjamin WICKHAM Jr. was born about 1809 in NY ⁶ and died between 1866 and 1868 in probably IA.)

Mary next married Warren V. MANN on 12 Oct 1868 in Tama Co, IA.² (Warren V. MANN was born in 1807 in Wyoming Co, NY ⁷ and died in 1887 in Cloud Co, KS ⁷.)
