ESTATE OF BENJAMIN WICKHAM, SR: Benjamin Junior Wickham signed his name (no mark) April 21, 1853 as he received $78.90 from his father's estate.

JOHNSON CO, IA MARRIAGE LICENCE: "William Wickham, stating he is acquainted with Benjamin Wickham & Mary Elizabeth Daugherty who are applicants for marriage licence that from the best of his belief they are over the age of 21. Signed by William (X - his mark) Wickham" (This William Wickham may have been Benjamin's cousin and a son of John Wickham, Jr.)

Now the Oren Wickham I knew was a cousin to my father and his half sister Mared my father Brother Jim and he a son by the name of Samul dead now And Oren is dead his wife and 3 boys are in Cedar Rapids And his Sister Jennie lives in C. Rapids" (transcribed as written) (Note: Mary Sophia Wickham married William Beese.)

Benjamin married Elizabeth RUBLE on 19 Feb 1832 in Morgan Co, OH.¹ (Elizabeth RUBLE was born about 1813 in PA,⁵ died on 12 Jan 1845 in Noble Co, OH ⁵ and was buried in Devoll Cemetery, Noble Co, OH.)

Benjamin next married Mary Elizabeth RIDDLE, daughter of Unknown and Unknown, on 10 Jun 1854 in Johnson Co, IA.² (Mary Elizabeth RIDDLE was born about 1830 in VA ⁶ and died after 1885 in probably KS ⁷.)
