DEATH CERTIFICATE: Orvil Osis Saltz (Salty?); b. Jun3 15, 1918 at Dayton, OH; father: Geroge "Salty" who was b. Vinton Co, OH; mother: Ethel Gilpen who was b. OH; d. Dec 25, 1928 in Harrison Twp, Vinton Co, OH of shot gun wound. The wound was reported to be self-inflicted but after an examination of the wound I think he was accidently shot by his brother, although the brother did not admit it. 10 yrs, 6 mo., 10 days; burial Dec 27, 1928 at Boblett Cem, OH; informant: Geo. "Salts" of Millersville(?), OH.
