OBIT: Glenwood Opion Tribune, March 3, 1941: Jack Rice, Former Resident, Dies in Ohio - Mrs. Eliza Askern of this city received word Sunday that her son-in-law, Jack Rice, passed away at his home in Chillicothe, Ohio last Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Rice resided many years in Mills county and several years here in Glenwood. They moved to Chillicothe about twenty years ago, where Mrs. Rice died in 1939. Mr. Rice was past 80 years of age. Mrs. Askern, who is 95 and is remarkably strong for one of her years, does plan to go to be in attendance at the funeral.
