OBIT, Waterloo Courier (IA), Sun, Jan 5, 1975: Mrs. Iva Abben, 66, of 2006 Lafayette St. was dead on arrival at Allen Memorial Hospital of injuries sustained in an evening pedestrian-car accident Friday in front of her home. Funeral services will be tomorrow at 11 a.m. at First Lutheran Church with burial in Dumont Cemetery, Dumont. She was born in Dumont Jan 27, 1908, the daughter of Thomas and Hattie Parris Wickham. She married Edward Abben Aug 1, 1924 at Bristow. She is survived by three sons: Eldon Abben of Evansdale, Richard L. Abben of Waterloo, and Ronald Abben of Independence; and a daughter, Mrs. Donald Wubbena of Waterloo. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the Locke Funeral Home.
