Funeral services for Edna L. Flury, 84, will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2009, at the Colyer Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ora Dailey officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery. Edna died at her home on Feb. 25, 2009.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 3-7 p.m. and briefly following the service. Arrangements are under the direction of the Colyer Funeral Home and friends may send condolences to the family at www.colyerfuneralhome.com.
Edna was born March 1, 1924, in Walnut, Kan., the daughter of Thomas and Anna (Horton) Spoonemore. She was a very loving, thoughtful and caring person. She loved arts and crafts, and playing bingo with friends. She also liked to attend auctions and garage sales on the weekends. She enjoyed spending time with her great-grandchildren.
Edna is survived by a grandson, Tyrel Flury and his wife Tina of Douglas, Wyo.; three great-grandchildren, Sheela, Savannah and Jonathon Flury, all of Douglas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons, two sisters and two brothers.
