Rebecca J. Pelton, 13, domestic servant, b. NY. She was living with James & Roda Pelton and other children. (Listed next to them on the census was Ezekiel Wickham.)

N. Y., September 1, 1828; married (1) Bethlehem
Church, Albany Co., N. Y., January 13, 1855, Gertrude
Rarick, daughter of Peter Rarick, of Coeymans,
N. Y. (d. Feb. 2, 1864); married (2) at the same
place, April 11, 1866, Rhoda Cornelius, daughter of
Peter Cornelius, of Coeymans. Mason. Residence,
1878, South Bethlehem, N. Y. Enlisted July or
August, 1862, in the 41st N. Y. Vols, for three years.
Discharged for disability after about four months'
service. Enlisted again April 3, 1865, in the 91st
N. Y. Vols, for one year, and served to the end of
the war. Children:
