Eva A. "Tiny" Wittwer, 91, of Salem, NE, passed away January 2, 2011 at Falls City, NE. She was born June 2, 1919 near Salem to the late Norman and Eva Ada (Hessler) Wickham.
On February 16, 1934 she married Chester A. Wittwer at Seneca, KS. He passed away March 2, 1990.
Tiny was raised at Salem and when married the couple established their home at Dawson, NE. In 1944 they moved to Cutler, CA and she worked for a packing house as a bookkeeper. In 1950 they returned to farm southwest of Salem. In 1960 they moved to Soldier, KS and moved to present family home in Salem in 1965 and she has lived there since. She was a member of the former Zion Reformed Church southwest of Dawson.
Tiny is survived by her son, Chester Wittwer, Jr. and his wife Noreen of Kansas City, MO, daughter, Shirley Ann Brammer and her husband Fred of Dawson, NE, four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Lloyd, Lyle, Albert, James, John, Carl and Clarence Wickham and sisters, Eva Russell, Erma Mohler, Norma Browne and Edythe Van Dyke.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 10:30 AM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home. Interment will be in Maple Cemetery at Salem.
