OBIT, Chillicothe Gazette, Dec 6, 2004: ZANESVILLE -- Mildred M. Rhoades, age 80, of Zanesville, went to be with her Lord at 12:50 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, 2004, at the Genesis Morrison House Hospice and Palliative Care. She was born April 20, 1924, in Adamsville, the daughter of Jacob and Martha Cunningham Wickham. Mrs. Rhoades was employed in housekeeping/linen at the Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital for 20 years and a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church.
Surviving are daughters Martha V. (Charles) Mauller Jr. of Wintersville, Ohio, and Karen M. Rhoades of Zanesville; sons James V. Rhoades Jr. of Zanesville and Ronald L. (Theresa) Rhoades Sr. of Adamsville; brother Gerald (Eleanor) Wickham of Zanesville; grandchildren Tiffany (Chad) Tilton of Duncan Falls, Ronald (Mandy) Rhoades Jr. of Blue Rock, Nichol Mauller and fiancée Chris Bateman of Zanesville, and Dustin Rhoades and fiancée Andrea Cupli of Zanesville; and great-grandchildren Alivia Tilton and Christopher Bateman. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James V. Rhoades Sr. (1963) and brothers David Wickham and Ernest Wickham.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m.. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 6, 2004 at the Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Tim Patton officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.
