Asberry Archer, being single, was not allowed to foster or adopt his nephews, Glenn and Dale Stewart, following the murder/suicide of their parents. Asberry was a school teacher and a prolific story writer/teller, with many of his stories and poems appearing in newspapers (AKA Adam Allop).
