OBIT: Independence Examiner (MO), Friday, August 29, 1952 - Burch Services Tuesday - Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Jane Burch, 79, of 1300 E. Hayward, who died Thursday night at the home, will be held at 10 am Tuesday at the George C. Carson Chapel. The burial will be in Mound Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Burch was born near Mapleton, IA, and moved to Independence from Ute, IA, 37 years ago. She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She is survived by four sons, Thomas C. Burch, 128 E. Walnut; Donald L. Burch, 932 E. Stone; Elisha E. Leach, 1525 N. Spring St., and Clifford Keairns, Sloan, IA; a sister, Mrs. Esther Willett, Sioux City, IA and two brothers, George Keairns, Sioux City and William Keairns, Sioux Falls, S.D.
